Community Guidelines ♡

Last updated: September 30, 2026

Yumeboard is meant to be a safe, creative community where people can share their interests, make profiles, post artwork, and participate in fandom spaces.

These guidelines explain the kinds of behavior I, AngelicalScientist, expect from everyone using Yumeboard. They apply to profiles, imageboards, replies, galleries, guestbooks, and other areas of the site

1. Be Respectful

Treat other users like actual people. Disagreements are allowed, but harassment, bullying, targeted hostility, and repeated unwanted behavior are not.

2. Respect Boundaries

If someone blocks you, asks you to stop interacting with them, or otherwise establishes a clear boundary, respect it.

Do not deliberately use alternate accounts or other methods to get around someone's boundaries or blocking.

3. Respect F/O and Fandom Boundaries

Yumeboard allows users to express personal relationships with fictional characters and participate in fandom spaces.

Respect other users' stated F/O and fandom boundaries. Different users may have different preferences about duplicates, sharing, and interaction.

When a user indicates that they do not want a particular interaction, respect that boundary rather than arguing about it.

4. Protect People's Privacy

Do not post another person's private or identifying information without their permission.

This includes information such as private contact information, passwords, private conversations, or other information that a person reasonably expects to remain private.

5. Keep Public Spaces Appropriate

Public areas of Yumeboard should remain appropriate for the site's 13+ audience.

Sexual content involving real life existing minors, sexualization or exploitation of real life existing minors, and other exploitative sexual content are strictly prohibited.

Do not use Yumeboard to sexualize, exploit, groom, or solicit minors.

6. No Threats or Encouragement of Harm

Do not threaten other people, encourage violence, or use the site to encourage people to harm themselves or others.

7. Don't Turn Conflicts Into Campaigns

Personal disagreements should not become harassment campaigns, dogpiling, callout campaigns, or coordinated attempts to target another user.

If something is genuinely violating the rules, use the reporting system instead.

8. Don't Abuse Reports

Reports are intended to help moderators identify genuine problems.

Do not intentionally submit false, misleading, repetitive, or retaliatory reports against other users.

9. No Spam or Disruption

Do not flood boards, guestbooks, galleries, or other areas of the site with repetitive or disruptive content.

Do not intentionally interfere with the normal operation of Yumeboard.

10. Don't Impersonate Others

Do not deliberately impersonate another user, moderator, administrator, or other person in a way that could reasonably mislead people. (you'll never be me~ ;3)

11. Respect Copyright

Only upload or distribute artwork, writing, images, or other material that you have permission to use.

Give appropriate credit when credit is required or expected by the creator. Do not modify anyone elses' pictures without consent.

12. Don't Evade Moderation

If your account or content receives a moderation action, do not create alternate accounts or otherwise attempt to circumvent the restriction.

13. Anonymous Posting Still Follows the Rules

Some Yumeboard features may allow anonymous posting.

Anonymous posting does not exempt anyone from the Community Guidelines. Moderation systems may pull investigations to punish any rule broken under anonimity.

14. Protect Your Own Privacy

Think carefully before sharing personal information online.

Avoid posting information such as your home address, passwords, private contact information, school information, or other details that could put your privacy or safety at risk.

15. Participate in Good Faith

You do not have to agree with everyone, you do need to participate without intentionally making the community hostile or unsafe for other people.

16. Moderation

Moderators may review reports and content and may take action when they believe the site's rules have been violated.

Moderation actions may include removing content, hiding content, applying punishments, restricting accounts, or terminating accounts and banning gmail accounts from registering when appropriate.

17. Reporting Problems

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, use the site's reporting tools when available.

Please provide enough information for moderators to understand what happened.

18. These Guidelines Can Change

Yumeboard may update these Community Guidelines as the community and its features develop.

The date at the top of this page shows when the guidelines were most recently updated.

19. Most Importantly...

Be kind, respect boundaries, protect your privacy, give people room to enjoy their interests differently from you, and when something goes wrong, use the tools available instead of making the situation worse!
