Welcome to Yumeboard! These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Yumeboard and its community features.

By creating an account or using Yumeboard, you agree to follow these Terms and the Community Guidelines.

1. Age Requirement

Yumeboard is intended for users age 13 and older.

You must be at least 13 years old to create or use a Yumeboard account.

If Yumeboard learns that an account belongs to someone under 13, the account may be suspended or terminated and associated personal information may be deleted as required by applicable law.

Providing false information about your age in order to create or maintain an account is not permitted.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Yumeboard account and for keeping your login credentials private.

Do not share your password or knowingly allow another person to use your account.

3. Your Content

You retain your rights in the original content that you create and upload to Yumeboard, subject to any rights necessary for Yumeboard to operate the service.

By submitting content to Yumeboard, you give Yumeboard permission to store, display, reproduce, and technically process that content as necessary to provide the site's features.

This permission does not mean that Yumeboard owns your original artwork, writing, or other creative work.

4. Public Content

Yumeboard includes public community features. Content posted to public areas may be visible to other users or visitors.

Do not post private information about yourself or another person that you do not want publicly accessible.

5. Anonymous Posting

Some Yumeboard features may allow you to post anonymously from the perspective of other users.

Anonymous posting does not remove your association with your account from Yumeboard's internal moderation systems. This may be used for safety, moderation, reporting, and abuse prevention.

6. Community Rules

You must follow the Community Guidelines when using Yumeboard.

This includes respecting other users, respecting boundaries, avoiding harassment, protecting people's privacy, and not using the site to harm or exploit others.

7. Copyright and Intellectual Property

Do not upload or distribute content that you do not have permission to use.

Respect the copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights of other people.

Yumeboard may remove content that is reported as infringing or that violates these Terms or the Community Guidelines.

8. Reports and Moderation

Yumeboard provides reporting tools so users can report content that may violate the rules.

Moderators may review reports and take actions including hiding or deleting content, applying punishments, or restricting accounts.

Moderation decisions may take into account the surrounding context and available information.

9. Blocking and F/O Boundaries

Yumeboard provides blocking and F/O compatibility features to help users control unwanted interactions and respect personal boundaries.

Do not deliberately attempt to circumvent another user's blocking or visibility restrictions.

10. Gallery Content

Users may upload artwork and other permitted images to the Yumeboard gallery.

Gallery uploads must follow the Community Guidelines and applicable copyright rules.

Gallery content may be deleted by its owner or by moderators.

11. Account and Content Deletion

Yumeboard does not currently provide an automated self-service account deletion feature.

Users may request deletion of personal information by contacting Yumeboard.

Some content or information may need to remain available for moderation, security, legal, or technical reasons.

12. Prohibited Use

You may not use Yumeboard to:

• Harass, threaten, or target other users
• Share private information without permission
• Impersonate another person
• Spam or intentionally disrupt the site
• Abuse the reporting system
• Evade moderation actions
• Infringe another person's intellectual property
• Sexually exploit or sexualize minors
• Upload content prohibited by the Community Guidelines
• Attempt to compromise the security of the service

13. Moderation and Account Restrictions

Yumeboard may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

Yumeboard may also take action when necessary to protect users, the service, or the integrity of moderation systems.

14. Third-Party Services

Yumeboard relies on third-party services including Supabase for authentication, database, and storage functionality, and GitHub Pages for website hosting.

Your use of Yumeboard may therefore also be subject to relevant terms and policies of those providers.

15. Availability

Yumeboard is provided as an online service and may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, third-party service interruptions, or other circumstances.

Yumeboard does not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

16. Safety

Yumeboard is a community platform, not a substitute for professional emergency, medical, legal, or other specialized services.

Protect your own privacy and personal information when interacting with other users.

17. Changes to These Terms

Yumeboard may update these Terms when the site, its features, or its rules change.

The date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were most recently updated.
