Welcome to Yumeboard. This Privacy Policy explains what information Yumeboard collects, how that information is used, and the choices available to users.

Yumeboard is intended for users age 13 and older. By using Yumeboard, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy and the way information is handled as described below.

Yumeboard uses Supabase Auth to provide account authentication.

Yumeboard does not have access to your plaintext account password. Supabase Auth stores passwords using secure password hashing rather than storing the original password.

Email verification may be required as part of account registration and authentication.

3. Content You Post

Content that you submit to Yumeboard may be stored and displayed as part of the site's community features. This includes imageboard threads and replies, gallery uploads, guestbook messages and replies, and information contained in your profile.

Some information may remain associated with your account even when you post anonymously. This helps Yumeboard operate moderation, reporting, and abuse-prevention systems.

Yumeboard uses Supabase for authentication, database services, and storage services.

Information submitted through Yumeboard may therefore be processed by Supabase as part of providing these services.

Yumeboard uses browser local storage for certain functionality.

This includes your Yumeboard authentication session and your saved light/dark theme preference. Supabase's browser client is configured to persist sessions in local storage by default.

Based on the current Yumeboard codebase, Yumeboard does not intentionally create its own browser cookies for account functionality, and it does not currently use sessionStorage.

7. Analytics and Tracking

Yumeboard currently does not use a separate third-party analytics service such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Plausible, Umami, or Hotjar.

This may change in the future if the site adds additional services. If that happens, this Privacy Policy may be updated to explain the relevant changes.

8. Public Information

Yumeboard is a social website, so some information you choose to publish may be visible to other users or visitors.

Depending on the feature, this may include usernames, display names, profile information, artwork, threads, replies, guestbook content, and other information you intentionally make public.

Do not post information that you do not want other people to see.

Yumeboard provides blocking and F/O compatibility features that can limit what users are able to see from one another.

These systems may affect the visibility of profiles, gallery content, imageboard threads and replies, and other associated content.

Yumeboard may store information related to reports, blocks, punishments, moderation actions, and other safety or moderation activity.

This information may be used to investigate reports, enforce the Community Guidelines, prevent repeated abuse, and maintain the safety of the community.

Gallery uploads may be deleted by their owners or by moderators, subject to Yumeboard's moderation systems.

Imageboard posts, threads, guestbook messages, and other content may be subject to moderation and deletion rules.

Yumeboard does not currently provide an automated self-service account deletion feature.

If you want to request deletion of personal information associated with your Yumeboard account, you may contact Yumeboard using the contact information provided on the Contact page.

Requests may need to be reviewed to determine what information can be deleted and whether any information needs to be retained for legitimate moderation, security, legal, or technical reasons.

Yumeboard is intended for users age 13 and older.

You must be at least 13 years old to create or use a Yumeboard account.

If Yumeboard learns that an account belongs to someone under 13, the account may be suspended or terminated and associated personal information may be deleted as required by applicable law.

Yumeboard uses Supabase authentication and database access controls to help protect account and community data.

However, no website or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should also take reasonable steps to protect their accounts, including choosing a strong, unique password and not sharing account credentials.

Yumeboard relies on third-party infrastructure, including Supabase for authentication, database, and storage functionality, and GitHub Pages for website hosting.

These services may process technical information as necessary to provide their services.
